지난 주에 세라는 자율휴업일이 이틀이나 있었어요.

4일은 세라 혼자 노는 날이라 간만에 둘이서 데이트를 했답니다.

북촌한옥마을가서 8경 다찍고 삼청동 가서 점심먹고 창덕궁이랑 후원엘 갔어요.

평일이라 예약을 안했는데도 인원이 적어 바로 후원입장이 되더군요.

(정해진 시간별로 50명 인터넷예약받고 50명 현장판매한답니다)

지금보다 10월말에서 11월초면 서울에서 가장 아름다운 단풍을 볼 수 있다고 해서

그때 꼭 한번 더 갈 생각이예요.

1. What kind of clothes Danny’s father wear?

He had on a dark uniform. This looked official. Hero thought because of this,

he looked rather frightening. Like a policeman. 

2. How did Danny fake his father? 

He said Hero had to do a Civics project in sixth grade. And she had to

interview someone who lives in town.

3. How did Hero say for echo?

She said she thought if she was fast enough, no one would have come and

interviewed Mr. Cordova. So she came early and talking to Danny that

because he works in a small town, he won’t have many cases. So Danny was

showing Hero all the cases. 

4.Who is another suspect(용의자)?

Mr. Murphy’s ex-wife. And Danny’s neighbor. Mrs. Miriam Roth.

5. If you were Hero, how do you speak ambigusly(얼버무리다.)?

I don’t know. I’d probably say the same thing. The stuff Hero made up, that

was incredible.

After reading the chapter, answer the question below.

1. Why did Hero go apart from Danny? 

Because he upset Hero replying to Kelly, Beatrice’s friend, “Something like that.”

and she was upset with that.

2. Why did Kelly stand up?

Because Danny Cordova was there, and he is the handsomest boy in his grade.

So she wanted to look good.

3. What’s the truth about “I see you got a lot of yard work done.”?

It means she said she will work in the yard when Beatrice and her parents were

out, but she didn’t do anything. She said it sarcastically.

4. When Hero asked “What would you do it a fried lied to you?”What did she say?

She said “Well, if a friend lied about something that mattered to me, that was

my business, then I guess I would ask her about it. It’s hard to be friends with

someone you don’t trust. But maybe if someone would lie to you, well, they

weren’t really your friend anyway.”

5. If your friend tell lie to you, how do you do?

 If it was a serious thing, which gave me damage, I would have asked why, and

might have never forgive him or her. But if it is just a little thing, I would forgive

him or her.

참, 엘리는 10월 마지막주 중간고사끝나고 수학여행가요.

수학여행가방은 어떤걸 들고가나요?

저희도 중간고사 끝나고 오랫만에 춘천에 놀러갔다 왔네요.

예전 참 평화롭고 한가했던 춘천생각하며 쉽게 가기로 했지요.

지하철도 생기고 고속도로도 생겨서 더 편할 줄 알았는데

오히려 관광지로 더 알려져서 그 길이 넘 막혀 더 멀어진 느낌이었습니다.

그래도 춘천의 그 느낌은 참 좋습니다.

한 주 미뤄지는 바람에 여유있게 잘 놀았습니다.

빨리 다운 받아 부지런히 따라가겠습니다.

늦게 올려주셔서 오히려 저희는 감사합니다.^^

M-D는 아직 시험중이네요.

우리는 지난주 시험끝나고 연휴동안 2박 3일로 변산반도와 선유도에 다녀왔습니다.

선유도는 처음 가보았는데 청정지역으로 잘 보존되어 있어서 너무 아름다웠습니다.

자전거를 빌려타고 섬을 돌아다녔는데 아이들이 너무 좋아하더군요.

이제 분발해서 2주치를 한주에 몰아해야 할텐데.... 아이가 속도를 내 줄지 걱정입니다.
