톨스토이의 글에 Helen Oxenbury가 그림을 그린 작품이랍니다.

반복되는 문장에 인물들이 하나씩 더해져 이야기를 풀어나가는 구조로 되어 있어서
아이들과 쉽게, 재밌게 즐길 수 있는 동화랍니다.
여기영차 여기영차 잡아 당기다가 뒤로 벌러덩 넘어지면 어찌나 재밌어 하는지 ~~
깔깔깔~~ 낄낄낄~~

자료는 간단히 등장인물들을 복사해 순무를 뽑는 것 처럼 왔다갔다 할 수 있도록 만들어 보았어요.
그림 먼저 보여 드릴께요.



두꺼운 도화지 한쪽에 순무가 들어갈 칼집을 내고 다른 쪽에는 등장인물들을 붙인 종이가 들어갈 수 있도록 가로로 길게 아래, 위 구멍을 만들었어요.
그래서 pull and pull 하면서 옆으로 왔다갔다 움직이면서 책을 읽어주었습니다.
혹시 이해가 잘 안가실 까봐 뒷모습을 잠깐 보여드리면 이렇습니다. 구멍으로 들어간 종이는 서로 붙여 주시구요 구멍이 더 길어야 왔다갔다가 잘 되거든요.

스토리텔링 후에는 아이들과 role-play를 했습니다.
아이들과 노는 모습을 찍어서 올리면 좋을 텐데 저희 팀은 인원이 얼마 안되서 늘 사진은 포기하게 되네요.
그냥 자료 사진만 올려 볼께요.
우선 커다란 순무를 부직포로 만들었구요 등장인물들은 목걸이로 만들었어요.
그리고는 창문에 순무를 붙이고는 "pull it up" "pull it up" 을 열심히 외치다 뒤로 벌러덩~~
