 Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?  쿠키 항아리를 크게 만들었어요. 그리고 각각의 쿠키 뒤에 동물들을 붙여서 양쪽으로 사용할 수 있게 했구요. 이야기 전개해 나가면서 쿠키를 하나씩 뒤집으면 동물이 나오고 쿠키는 이야기대로 하나씩 사라져 가는 거죠. [Front Cover] Wow! Look at this book(와! 이 책 좀 보세요) This book looks like a cookie jar.(이 책은 쿠키 항아리처럼 생겼네요.) This cookie jar has a yellow lid with a red knob.(이 쿠키 항아리는 빨강 손잡이가 달려 있는 노랑 뚜껑이 있군요) What animals can you see?(어떤 동물들이 있나요?) I can see a mouse, a cat, a dog, a pig and a rabbit.(쥐, 고양이, 개, 돼지 그리고 토끼가 있네요) Do you like cookies?(여러분은 쿠키를 좋아 하나요?) There were some cookies in the cookie jar.(쿠키 항아리에 쿠키 몇 개가 있었대요.) But now there is no cookies in the cookie jar.(그런데 쿠키 항아리에 쿠키가 하나도 없데요.) What was the matter with the cookies?(그런데 쿠키에 무슨 일이 일어났을까요?) [Page 1] Look at the picture!(그림을 보세요.) There is a dog. Where is the dog?(개 한 마리가 있네요. 어디에 있나요?) The dog is In the bathroom.(개가 목욕탕에 있네요) What is the dog doing?(개가 무얼 하고 있나요?) The dog is taking a bubble bath.(개가 거품 목욕을 하고 있네요) The dog is scrubbing his back.(개가 등을 문지르고 있죠.) Can you see the cookie jar?(쿠키 항아리가 보이나요?) What else can you see in the picture?(이 그림에서 또 뭐가 보이나요?) I can see a green towel, blue slippers, a rubber duck, a red mat, shampoo, a window!(초록수건, 파랑 슬리퍼, 고무 오리, 빨간 깔개, 샴푸, 창문….) And lots of dog biscuits on the wallpaper!(그리고 벽지에 개 과자그림이 많이 있네요.) Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar? Dog stole the cookies from the cookie jar. Let me open the lid(뚜껑을 열어 볼까요?) Who me?(내가?) Yes, you!(그래, 너!) Couldn’t be! (그럴리 없지) Then who?(그럼 누구?) [Page 2] How many cookies? Let’s count!(쿠키가 몇 개죠? 세어 볼까요?) A-ha! Maybe it was Kitty (아마도 고양이인가 봐요) Where is Kitty?(고양이가 어디에 있나요?) In the kitchen.(부엌에 있네요) Can you see the cookie jar?(쿠키 항아리가 보이나요?) (Yes, I can.) What is Kitty doing?(고양이가 뭘 하고 있나요?) Kitty is cooking pancakes.(고양이가 팬케이크를 굽고 있네요.) Oh, I see.(아, 알겠다) After eating cookies, Kitty was still hungry.(쿠키를 먹은 다음에도 고양이는 배가 고파서) So Kitty is cooking some pancakes.(팬 케이크를 굽고 있나봐요) Kitty stole the cookies from the cookie jar.(고양이가 쿠기 항아리에서 쿠키를 훔쳤군요) (꾸껑 열고) Who me? Yes, You! Couldn’t be! Then who? Oh, Kitty said she is not a thief.(고양이는 자기가 도둑이 아니라고 하네요) [Page 3] Now how many cookies?(이제 쿠키가 몇 개죠?) One, two, three, four.(하나, 둘, 셋, 넷) Four! One cookie is missing(넷! 쿠키 하나가 없어졌네요.) Now what animal can you see?(이제 어떤 동물이 보이나요?) A mouse.(쥐죠.) What is Mouse doing?(쥐는 뭘 하고 있죠?) Painting a picture.(그림을 그리네요.) Then what is Mouse painting?(그런데 쥐가 뭘 그리나요?) The cookie jar.(쿠키 항아리!) Maybe Mouse really wanted to eat cookies.(아마도 쥐는 정말로 쿠키가 먹고 싶었을지 몰라요.) Mouse has a paintbrush and a big paint palette.(쥐는 붓과 큰 팔레트를 가지고 있네요. What colors can you see on his palette?(팔레트에 무슨 색이 있나요?) (Purple, blue, green, grown, red, pink, orange and yellow and mixed color) Was Mouse really a thief?(쥐가 정말로 도둑일까요?) Mouse stole the cookies from the cookie jar.(쥐가 쿠키 항아리의 쿠키를 훔쳤어요) Who me? Yes, You! Couldn’t be? Then who? Then who else could it be?(그럼 누구일까요?) [Page 4] How many cookies?(쿠키가 몇 개 남았죠?) One, two, three….(하나, 둘, 셋) Oh, my! Only three cookies left.(어머나, 쿠키가 3개 밖에 안 남았어요.) Now I can see a bunny that is in planting some vegetables the garden.(이제 정원에서 야채를 심고 있는 토끼 한 마리가 보이네요.) And there are lots of carrots on the wagon.(그리고 손수레에 당근이 많이 놓여 있어요) What else can you see?(그 외에 뭐가 보이나요?) An egg in the nest on the branch, two flying birds, an apple near the cookie jar, beautiful flowers, …..(나무 가지에 새둥지 안에 알, 두 마리의 나는 새, 쿠키 항아리 옆에 사과, 예쁜 꽃들…) As Bunny is working very hard, he must be hungry.(토끼가 열심히 일하고 있었기 때문에, 아마도 배가 고팠을 거예요.) Then did Bunny steal the cookies from the cookie jar?(그럼 토끼가 쿠키 항아리에서 쿠키를 훔쳤을까요?) Maybe!(아마도요!) Bunny stole the cookies from the cookie jar.(토끼가 쿠키 항아리에서 쿠키를 훔쳤어요.) Who me? Yes, you! Couldn’t be! Then who? [Page 5] Let’s count the left cookies!(남아있는 쿠키를 세어 볼까요?) One, two.(하나, 둘) Now we have only two cookies(이제 쿠키가 두개 밖에 없네요) Where are the cookies gone?(쿠키가 어디로 가버렸죠?) What is sitting on the cookie sofa?(쿠키 소파에 누가 앉아 있나요?) Piggy. What is the Piggy doing?(돼지가 뭘 하고 있나요?) Piggy is reading a newspaper? Really?(돼지가 신문을 읽고 있다구요? 정말요?) Piggy could be eating cookies with hiding behind the newspaper.(돼지가 신문뒤에 숨어서 쿠키를 먹고 있는건 아닐까요?) Piggy stole the cookies from the cookie jar.(돼지가 쿠키 항아리에서 쿠키를 훔쳤어요) Who me? Yes, you! Couldn’t be. Then who? [Page 6] What happened?(이게 무슨일이죠?) There is only one cookie left.(쿠키가 하나밖에 남지 않았어요) Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?(누가 쿠키 항아리에서 쿠키를 훔쳤죠?) Did you?(여러분인가요?) Look at all the animals!!(동물들 좀 보세요) Piggy thinks Kitty stole the cookies, for piggy is pointing at Kitty.(돼지는 고양이가 훔쳤다고 생각하네요. 왜냐면 돼지는 고양이를 가리키고 있으니까요) And who is Kitty pointing at?(고양이는 누구를 가리키고 있나요?) Kitty is pointing at Piggy.(고양이는 돼지를 가리키고 있네요.) Oh! My! Every animal is pointing at each other.(모든 동물들이 서로를 가리키고 있네요.) They have a doubt on each other.(서로를 의심하고 있군요.)
