낙엽을 밟으면서 하는 영어 이야기 (2004.10.21) > 피기맘의 엄마표 영어 교육 손수 짜기(DIY)

1!@#$오늘은 다은이랑 비디오를 빌리려고 밖에 나갔다. 근데 정말 가을이 깊어 감을 몸소 느꼈다.나뭇잎들이 어쩜 그렇게도 예쁘게 붉게 노랗게 물이 들었는지 그냥 지나칠 수가 없었다.아주 짧은 시간이었지만은 한번 우리들의 영어 이야기를 적어 보려 한다...================================================================ Mom: Daeun, why don't you pick the fallen leaves up from the floor? ( 다은아, 너가 한번 바닥에 있는 이 낙엽들을 주워보면 어떨까?)Daeun: Okay, I like the fallen leaves, Mom. ( 좋아요. 전 낙엽들을 좋아해요 ,엄마.)Mom: How do they feel? ( 그것들은 느낌이 어떠니?)Daeun: I think that these fallen leaves feel dry and rough. ( 제 생각에는 이 낙엽들은 건조하고 거친 느낌이 들어요.)Mom: That's right. At this time, why don't you touch this leaf in the tree? ( 맞아. 이번에는 너가 이 나무에 있는 나뭇잎을 만져 볼래?) And would you tell me how it feels? ( 그리고 그 느낌이 어떤지 엄마에게 말해 줄래?)Daeun: This leaf feels very soft. It 's different from the fallen leaves, Mom. ( 이것은 부드러워요. 그리고 낙엽들과는 다르네요. 엄마.)Mom: You' re right. Did you feel juicy when you touched this leaf in the tree? ( 맞아. 너가 이 나무에 있는 이 나뭇잎을 만졌을때 넌 촉촉한 느낌 들었니?)Daeun: Yes, Mom. I thought this leaf felt juicy. ( 네, 엄마. 이 나뭇잎이 촉촉하다라고 생각했어요.)Mom: Actually this leaf is still in the tree, so this leaf is alive. ( 사실 이 나뭇잎은 여전히 나무위에 있고 그래서 이 잎은 살아 있지.) And then this leaf can drink some water. ( 그러면은 이 나뭇잎은 물을 마실 수 있어.) Because the water can move from the root to the leaf in the tree. ( 왜냐하면은 물은 뿌리에서 부터 잎까지 이동하거든.) But the fallen leaves were separated from the tree already. ( 근데 낙엽들은 이미 나무로부터 분리가 되어 버렸지.) Since the fallen leaves can't drink some water any more, you can feel rough and dry by the fallen leaves. ( 낙엽들은 더이상 물울 마실 수 가 없기에 넌 이 낙엽에 의해서 거칠고 건조한 느낌이 받을 수 있어.) Don't you think. Daeun? ( 그렇지 않니?)Daeun: I think so, Mom. It' s amazing. ( 그렇게 생각해요, 엄마. 정말 신기하네요.) Mom: I think that the root, the stem, and the leaf are very importent in the plant together. ( 엄마 생각에는 뿌리, 줄기, 잎은 식물에 있어서 다같이 매우 중요하다라고 생각해.) So these three parts should be healthy together in the plant. ( 그래서 이세 부분들은 다같이 건강해야해.) And theses parts need each other. ( 그리고 이 부분들은 서로 필요하지.) I mean that they have to love each other as if I love you. ( 내말은 그것들이 마치 엄마가 다은이를 사랑하는 것처럼 서로 사랑해줘야한다는 것이지.) And then the plant will grow very well. ( 그러면 이 식물들은 아주 잘 자랄 것이야.)Daeun: I see, Mom. Now shall we step on the fallen leaves? ( 알겠어요, 엄마, 엄마 우리 지금 낙엽들을 밟아 볼까요?)Mom: That's a good idea, Daeun. ( 그거 좋은데, 다은아.) Then would you tell me how you can hear when you step on them? (그럼 너가 그것들을 밟았을때 어떻게 들리는지 말해 줄래?) 이때 다은이는 신났다면서 발로 낙엽들을 밟았다. Daeun: Mom, I can hear the sound like this from the fallen leaves. ( 엄마, 난 마치 이것과 같은 소리를 들을 수 있어요.) Mom: Really? In that case you can say like this, " the fallen leaves rustle." (정말? 다은아, 그 경우에는 넌 이렇게 말할 수 있어. " 낙엽들이 바삭바삭 소리를 낸다라고 말이야 ".) 우리는 이 날 길 가다가 낙엽도 밟아보고, 나무에 아직 달려 있는 촉촉한 나뭇잎들도 만져 보면서잠깜이나마 즐거웠다.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
