Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo
The sun had almost set in the sky. Squirrel and his friends, Red Rabbit, Blue Rabbit, Orange Rabbit
and Green Rabbit, were ready to go home to bed after a fun day playing in the field.
The rabbits were very tired but they couldn't decide who should lead the way home.
"I have an idea!" said Squirrel. "Let's play a choosing game to decide who should hop home first."
And this is how they played the game?br /> Squirrel started to call out a rhyme and as he did
so he pointed at each of his friends.
"Eeny Meeny Miny Mo,
Is it yes or is it no?
Which will stay and which will go?
Eeny Meeny Miny Mo.
Red Rabbit! Hop along!" sang Squirrel.
So Red Rabbit hopped home over the field.
"Bye, bye, Red Rabbit," said the other three rabbits.
Then Squirrel started to call out his rhyme a second time.
"Eeny Meeny Miny Mo,
Is it yes or is it no?
Which will stay and which will go?
Eeny Meeny Miny Mo.
"Blue Rabbit, you can follow your friend," sang Squirrel.
So Blue Rabbit hopped home over the field.
"Bye, bye, Blue Rabbit," said the other two rabbits.
"Just two rabbits left now," said Squirrel as he began to call out his rhyme for the third time.
"Eeny Meeny Miny Mo,
Is it yes or is it no?
Which will stay and which will go?
Eeny Meeny Miny Mo.
Hop along home, Orange Rabbit!" sang Squirrel.
So Orange Rabbit hopped home over the field.
"Bye, bye, Orange Rabbit," said the one rabbit who was left.
And then there was only Green Rabbit left to choose, so Squirrel couldn't sing his rhyme to send him home. "Bye, bye, Green Rabbit," said Squirrel.
When Green Rabbit had hopped across the field all the rabbits waved to Squirrel from their home
and then went to bed.
"Now it's time for me to go to bed too," yawned Squirrel sleepily.
As he closed his eyes and fell asleep Squirrel started to dream of all the fun he would have playing
in the field the next day.
The End.
