삼성출판사에서 나온 The Gingerbread Man....아이들이 너무좋아합니다...해서 이번엔 스토리텔링을 이교재로 해보았어요..동생모임인데 큰아이(Joe)가 요번엔 직접나서서 해보겠다고하네요..Gingerbread Man 을해보겠다고요...넘 감동먹었어요...왜냐면 어지껏 스스로 하겠다고 나선적이 없어서...그러더니 Gingerbread Man 을 직접그려서 만들고 머리에 붙이고 악어도 만들었네요... 
Hello..Today's title is The Gingerbread Man.Listen carefully...
Mrs. Brown is the best baker in town.
All the children in town love her cookies.
Even crocodiles love her cookies.
Today, she bakes a gingerbread cookie.
<Look at Mrs. Brown. What is she wearing? She's wearing an apron.
She's ready to make a gingerbread cookie.>
"Mmm! The cookie smells good!" she says.
"I can't wait to eat it!"
Then she opens the oven door.
<Whisk is a hand-held implement for whisking egg or cream.>
A Gingerbread Man jumps out! "Come back here!" says Mrs. Brown.
He runs very quickly.
이때 Joe가 양손가락을 볼에대고 놀리면서 Gingerbread Man 흉내를 냅니다....
" NaNaNa-- You can never catch me!"
<Mrs. Brown chase the Gingerbread Man.>
A boy sees the Gingerbread Man.
<A boy is working with rake of his right hand.>
"Come back here!" he says.
The Gingerbread Man says, " NaNaNa--. You can never catch me!"
Mrs. Brown and the boy chase the Gingerbread Man.
Then a dog sees the Gingerbread Man.
"Come back here! he says.
"NaNaNa--. You can never catch me!" says the Gingerbread Man.
Mrs. Brown, the boy and the dog chase the Gingerbread Man.
"Oh, my! It's a river!" says the Gingerbread Man.
"I can't cross the river!"
책에는 river이 짧게 나와있어서 덧붙여서 더 리얼하게 만들어서 활용을 해보았답니다...
그다음 찍찍이로 Joe 가 만들어놓은 악어도 붙여보았어요..
"Hello, Gingerbread Man," says a crocodile.
"I can help you! Stand on my nose.
We can cross the river together!"
"Oh, boy!" says the Gingerbread Man.
He jumps on the corcodile's nose.
He looks back at Mrs. Brown, the boy and the dog.
He says, "NaNaNa--. You can never catch me!"
In the middle of the river, the crocodile opens his mouth.
SNAP!
The crocodile eats the little Gingerbread Man.
"Mmm," says the crocodile.
"Yummy!"
<Oh, poor the little Gingerbread Man.>
"We are hungry!" say the boy and the dog.
"I can make another. Let's go," says Mrs. Brown.
"But I will be careful! I will lock the door!"
Did you have fun?
Yeah...I have fun, too.
I'll have another story for you.

< >표시는 책에 없는 내용을 스토리로 활용해본것이랍니다...삼성에서나온 처음만나는 영어동화인데...이야기가 짧아서 지루하지않으면서도 아이들을 끌수있는 주제여서 정말 좋았답니다...특히 Joe가 NaNaNa 할때는 모두들 흉내를 내고 하나같이 집중을 하여주어서 스토리하는사람도 흐믓했고 모두들 즐거운시간을 보냈답니다...
