The president wanted to talk about what it means to be good citizen. Marvin said a citizen is part of a country. And the president said we are all part of a big group. That group is called the United States of America.

Marvin wants to he asks “What are you doing about pollution?” But Casey asks the question before Marvin asks that. So he thinks that he asks, “Are we going to get into a war anytime soon?” However, Melanie asks the question! So he have to change question several times.

What kind of special day would you want to have with your classmates? I want to hear about your ideas.

I want to have a ‘fun dress day’ in a year. Many girls wear dresses.

But they wear ‘fun’ dress, they will be look like very fun. If we have the day, I will draw  fun picture on my dress and I will wear the dress. And boys are not wear dresses. But they wear dress and the ‘fun dress day’, they will so *****.

A) In Hole day you have to wear a cloth But it must have a hole.

2. Why was Marvin embarrassed when solving the math problem and how did he get out of trouble?

A) Ceasy said in ***** face. But suddenly Marvin realized she was saying fourteen. That's the way Marvin can do it.

3. What did the president talk about in Marvin's class? Write about his speech in 3-4 sentences.

A) "Work hard. Listen to your teacher. Be a good citizen All those things we talked about earlier"

4. What was Marvin's original question to the president and why did he have to change it several times?

A) His first question was what are you doing about pollution?  But casey said it. He thought another question. He thought Are we going to get into a war anytime soon? But he said to president Is there something we should be doing now if we want to be president someday? He have to change Because his friend seid the same question first.

엄마 마음은 Book report를 매개로

Eric과 엄마의 생각을 나누며 Eric에게 다양한 생각방법을 알려주고 싶은데

현실은 빛의 속도앞에 생각주머니가 나와보지도 못했습니다.

(리포트에서 왜 그런질문 하고 싶니?물으니까

무작정 기다리는 것도 아니고 현명하게 기다려주는 것 에렵습니다.

일요일 제사가 있어 친척댁에 갔다가 중3 여자친구와 많은 이야기를 했습니다.

성향은 이과인데(과목 중 어문쪽은 그럭저럭하고 수학은 탁월하게 잘하는)

외고를 가려하는데(일반고는 가기 싫답니다?!) 

문과중에 수학을 활용할 수 있는 학과가 어디냐를 두고 이야기했습니다.

아이도 어머니도 자기가  좋아하는게 무엇인지 보다는

사회에서 몸값나가는 직업이 무엇인지,

결혼생활과 병행하기 좋은 직업이 무엇인지를 중심으로 이야기를 하였습니다

그게 가감없는 마음이겠죠.

아이가 자신의 진로를 생각하는데 어떻게 도움을 주어야 할 지 많은 생각을 하게 되었습니다.

어떤 직업이 있는지도 잘 모르고,

내가 무얼 좋아하고 잘하는 지도 모르는 상태에서

막연히 수학을 제일 잘하니까 영어를 제일 잘하니까를 기준으로

평균수명 100세 시대에 살아갈 진로를 선택하게 하는 건 아니다라는 생각이 들었습니다.

방법이 뭘까요... 

저흰 지금 한국이에요.. 한국 오는데 정말 사연이 많았어요.. 이번 일욜 출국하는데 그동안 미션 수행은 아마 정지 될 듯 합니ㅏ. 한국오기전 캠프 5박 6일갔었구요. 캠프 끝나기 하루전 날 제가 픽업해서 공항에서 한국으로 오는데 거의 이틀걸렸어요..

한국에 있는동안 하고 싶은게 뭐냐고 했더니 한글책 읽고 싶다고 해서 그러라고 했습니다. 사실 1주일밖에 시간이 없는지라 건강검진, 안과, 치과..병원 순례만 해도 부족 할 듯 해서요. 저흰 아무래도 이번 미션 글구 다음 미션은 스킵해야 겠네요..

글구 안좋은 소식.. 주울님 제 컴 완전 장례치르게 생겼어요.. 전원도 안켜져요..ㅜㅜ

방학마다 1주일씩은 시골에 다녀와야 사는거 같다는 아이들의 말에 넘어가서 오늘 시골보냈어요~~

중1여,초5남 동성,동급생 조카가 있어서 잘어울리고 잘놀거든요.

무엇보다 외할아버지랑 외할머니가 좋아하시고요.

버스터미널에 태워다 주었더니 신나라하고 쓩~~~

헥터는 어제 늦게까지 부랴부랴 미션을 했네요.자기가 할 수 있는만큼^^

엄마가 영어가 안되어서 얼마전부터 동네영어학원을 1시간식 3번 나가는데 영 신통치가 않네요,,

북클럽책읽기와 학원에서 배워오는것들을 조합해서 영어좀 시키려고 한건데,,

단어는 책의 본문찾아 옮겨적기했구요,hole day는 게임데이 하고싶대요.

남자아이라 그런지 게임을 넘넘 좋아하는데 이런저런 사연을 격으며 요즘은 1주 1시간밖에 못하거든요,,

검색 1시간도 주는데 그시간은 웃긴것들 보느라고 바쁘고,,

초고되니 엄마에겐 게임이 숙제아닌 숙제입니다.

앗참,,헥터가 재원샘도 게임좋아하시는지 궁금하대요~~~!!!

더운 여름 공부하시느라 북클럽 챙기시느라 바쁘신데 더위먹지마시어요~~
