위에 소개한 More Stories to Solve에서 문제 하나 가져와 볼게요. 재밌어요.

답은 이따가 오후에....

The new prince

     King Leopard needed an heir to take his place when he died, but he had no sons. It was decided that a contest would be held and the winner would become prince.

     "This spear will be the test," announced King Leopard. "Whoever can throw it up in the air while dancing and count to ten before catching it will be named my son and prince."

     Of course, all the animals were eager to try. It seemed an easy test. Elephant insisted on being first. His dance was clumsy, and he had counted only to four when the spear fell to the ground. Ox was next. His dance was somewhat better, and he threw the spear a little higher; but it still hit the ground before he'd counted to five. Ape was next, and others followed. None of them could count to ten before the spear hit the ground beside them.

     When the little deer said he wanted to try, everyone laughed.

     "Rules are rules," said the king. "Everyone here may have his chance."

     The little deer picked up the spear and danced a lovely light-footed dance. As he danced, he threw up the spear and easily counted to ten before catching it again. That very day he was crowned prince. How did the little deer succeed when the larger, stronger animals had failed?
