1. Wilhelm Roentgen first found X-rays.

2. When the wavelenghts shortens, the frequencies and the energies become higher. When the waves posesses more energies, it can be used in many ways. For example, Gamma rays, which is the rays that has the shortest wavelenghts on the diagram in the book, can be used to treat illnesses and create images.

3. They use a method called photosynthesis. And the use water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide to use this method

1. Wilhelm Roentgen, a German physicist, was the first discoverer of X-rays. While conducting an experiment at Wurzburg University, 1895, he noticed some photographic plates near his equipment glowing. He discovered that mysterious rays were being emitted by the glass tube, which contained electrodes. As electricity passed between the electrodes, X‑rays were emitted and appeared on the photographic plates. In the end, he was awarded the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. (He named 'X' for unknown.)

2. Waves with short wavelengths, such as X-rays or gamma rays, have high frequencies and energies. These rays can be greatly beneficial in medical fields if carefully controlled. For example, X-rays can be used for diagnosing bone fractures and finding dense tumors, and gamma rays can be used to kill cancer cells and fight tumors.

3. There are three major ways plants use when making their own food, which are photosynthesis, the process of capturing light energy and converting it to sugar energy, respiration, burning sugars to yield energy, and transpiration, the loss of water vapor. Plants use water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide to do photosynthesis, which occurs in plant leaves. Chloroplasts, a part of leaves, are full of chlorophyll, which store water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide, and use them for making food later on.

1. The X-ray was found by scientist named Wilheim Roentgen while his experiments. He wanted to know what wll hapeen when the electric current passes through the gas. He founded the radiation and there fore recieved a Nobel prize for this.

2. It's frequency increases and wavelength decreases. When the wave has short wavelength then it will have high energy and frequency. For this X-rays and Gamma rays are used in many ways. They are both used for medical methods each in different part.

3. They make energy by Photosynthesis and use light, energy, water, carbon dioxide to make nutrient for itself.

1. The X-ray was found by Wilhelm Roentgen who founded the x-ray while doing his discharge experiment in 8, November 1895. He wanted to found out what phenomenon will happen if the electric current passes through the gas. So he draw the curtains shut and make the room dark. Then he found something which was a green faint light. So Roentgen found out this radiation and named it 'X-ray'. After he founded out the 'X-ray', Roentgen did a little experiement with his own wife and discovered out that x-ray can be used to show bones! Wilhelm Roentgen received 1901 Nobel Prize for this.

2. According to the page 18, it says that as frequency increases, wavelength decreases. So if the wave has short wavelengths, it will have a high frequency and high energies. Now, turn to page 86 and it says that the X-rays and gamma rays both have very high frequencies and energies.  X-rays and Gamma rays are used in many ways. For example, X-rays are taking a great part in the medicine. And Gamma rays are used to kill cancer cells and fight tumors.

3. Plants make energy from a way called Photosynthesis, and this is a way which uses the light from the sun and carbon dioxide among the air and water to make a nutrient for the plant.

1. A scientist called William Roentgen discovered X-rays while experimenting with a cathode radiation. In late 1895, a German physicist, W. C. Roentgen was working with a cathode ray tube in his laboratory. He realized that he had produced a previously unknown "invisible light," or ray, that was being covering themitted from the tube; a ray that was capable of passing through the heavy paper e tube. Through additional experiments, he also found that the new ray would pass through most substances casting shadows of solid objects on pie-ces of film. He named the new ray X-ray, because in mathematics "X" is used to indicated the unknown quantity. In his discovery Roentgen found that the X-ray would pass through the tissue of humans leaving the bones and met-als visible.

2. If waves have short wavelengths, they will have short frequencies, so they have more energy. The energy is often used for technical things such as X-ray images.

3. Plants do something called photosynthesis which uses light energy, water, and carbon dioxide and make starch, which the plant uses as energy, change it into sugar, and move it to other parts of the plant at night, when the plant does not do photosynthesis anymore, because there isn't enough energy from the sun for them to do it.
