처음에 12기를 시작할때 어렵게 느껴졌는데 이제는 좀 나아졌다고 합니다~~

지난 주에 했는데 제가 계속 잊어버려서 지금에야 올립니다.

다음 과제도 늦게 봐서 밀려버렸네요...ㅜㅜ

방학동안 책읽기를 다시 시작해서 좋았는데 명절지나면 바로 개학이라 걱정이네요.

부족하지만 미르가 참여할 수 있는 공간이 있는 것이 너무 좋아요.^^

1.      How did Tomie feel when he arrived at the new house? Why?

He felt really excited about the new house.

Because the house before he was living was broken by the hurricane.

If I was Tommy I  would feel excited to.(I guess…..)

Because It’s brand new not touch with anybody. Not me

Everybody will be excited  about they’re houses.( Even small ones, too.)

2.      Why did Tommy check if there were enough pages? (Chapter 1)

Because he want to make sure that there were a lot of pages in case Tommy had  any sisters. (He really cares about his new baby sister!)

3.      Why did Tomie get so excited at the end of chapter 1?

 He was excited about the baby he’s mother was going to born

So he said to Jesus “I want to a baby sister”

I might be excited like him.

4.      What does Tommy want to be when he grows up?

He wants to be an artist. Because he wants to draw picture and write stories for books , sing and dance the tap dance on the stage.

5.      Whats the story of Tomie having the spelling T-O-M-I-E?

For the next seven years Tomie had to spell his name T-O-M-M-Y but he was a small kid so he spell his name T-O-M-I-E

 I like this Tomie better.

6.      do you think Miss Immick is a nice person? Why or why not?

I think she’s really nice and kind person like mother.(I think…)

She is friendly to her students. I like that kind of person.

And when she got present of course everybody does she was really proud when she got tommie’s cake. So I think she’s very nice and kind person.

7.      What do you think Tomie is talented at, according to the story?

He’s really good at tap dance. And talented.

When he was five, he’s shy to tap dance. But now he’s really good at it.

8.      What did Tomie do during the play that attracted all the attention?

Because Tomie will be flopsy, he think that flopsy is the girl, but he was wrong absolutely wrong. He was disappointed.

9.      What was the turning point between Tomie and Miss Immick’s relationship?

Tomie made a special cake and cookies for Immick at Valentine day.

He made lots of  little windows to open and lace doilies gulped inside.

After that happens, Immick became good teacher to Tommie’s.

10.  Why is mom not coming home after she left to hospital? How does Tomie feel about it?

To buy ribbon. Tomie was very happy. Too happy enough, he ran all the way home. He’s mouth was up to his ears because of  the baby sister he had.

 He was very excited about moving into a new house. He went up and down the stairs and he thought almost everything in the 26 Fairmount Avenue were new.

2.      Why did Tommy check if there were enough pages? (Chapter 1)

 Tomie checked to make sure there were lots of pages in case he would have any sisters.

3.      Why did Tomie get so excited at the end of chapter 1?

 Because his mother told him he could see his little baby sister or brother soon and he is very excited, he prayed to Jesus to have a baby sister.

4.      What does Tommy want to be when he grows up?

He want to be an artist when he grow up, draw pictures, write stories for books, and sing or tap dance on stage.

Miss Immick told him his name spelled T-O-M-I-E is a wrong spelling and he should spell it T-O-M-M-Y.

6.      do you think Miss Immick is a nice person? Why or why not?

 I don’t think so. She ordered him to spell his name in a different way with out asking to him. And even he showed he didn’t liked that spelling, she made him to spell it her own way. So Tomie used that spelling for next seven years.

7.      What do you think Tomie is talented at, according to the story?

 I think Tomie is talented at drawing and dancing and singing. Especially tap dancing.

8.      What did Tomie do during the play that attracted all the attention?

 With other kids who did the same thing with Tomie, he tap danced or slapped his hands when peter rabbit says.

9.      What was the turning point between Tomie and Miss Immick’s relationship?

 He made Miss Immick a very special valentine mail box, white paper dolls glued on it, and she was very proud of it.

10.  Why is mom not coming home after she left to hospital? How does Tomie feel about it?

She didn’t came home because she has to stay at the hospital with Tomie’s new baby sister. Tomie was excited about seeing his new baby sister soon and can’t wait it.
