Horrible Science #5. Deadly Diseases

1. What is our body’s defense system? (see 33p~35p)

The body’s defense system called immune system which, based on military rock.

It’s called as lymph nodes or “glands” where white blood called group to fight infection.

2. Name four kinds of medical scientist, and explain what they do. (see 45p~46p)

It’s the Immunologist, Bacteriologist, virologist and Epidmiologist.

Immunologist studies how the immune system fights with jerms.

Bacteriologist study Bacteria.

Virologist study viruses and between them they are trying to find the germs that cause green teacher disease.

Epidmiologist is doing detective works.

3. What is a mould? List at least two facts about the mould. (see 71p~72p)

Mould is that Fleming found growing on one of his a gar plates.

People use mould in bandages.

4. How did the black plague spread? Explain the process in detail. (see 79p~81p)

Everybody though rat spread the plague. But there was a flea in the rat’s body.(yuck)

And some bacteria hiding in the rat has been sucked into the flea’s gut.

5. How does a virus infect the body? Write the details. (see 111p)

When virus lands on human’s body’s cell. It squeezes and it’s dna into the body.

Then they make nucleus where the cell’s dna is stored.

And after that, the virus make our dna program to make a lot of viruses.

6. In my opinion, flu is the most common disease on Earth. I also catch flues extremely often. But there is no vaccine, and the only cure is antibiotics. Why is that? Research about flues-whether it’s a bacterium or a virus, how to get infected, etc- and write why there can’t be a vaccine for flu.

The flu come in our body with germs in your hands or breathes bad air.

When my friend got that disease and he touch me and I don’t wash my hands and pick my nose and eat them ,then tada~~~~~~ flu is on my way.

Because you maybe know if human makes a vaccine for diseases the germs gets more powerful and be withstand. So if you want to be don’t have a flu just wash your hands clean.

아서가 도서관에서 한글판을 빌러 왔드라구요..같이 병행하면서 하드라구요..

아침마다 동생을 독촉하여 등교하고 있답니다.

 케일리가 1학년 동생을 데리고 다니니 아침에 저가 너무 편합니다. 수고로움에 대한 보답을 해야겠지요 ^^

그런데 시간 관계상 6번을 못 했어요 제일 중요한 문제인 것 같은데....... 다음엔 빠짐없이 하겠습니다 죄송합니다.^^

중학생이 된지 2주가 되었네요. 이제 좀 슬슬 적응이 됐는지...

아침에 벌떡 일어나던 아이가 이젠 깨워야 일어나네요.
