4. Comprehension & Composition

1. #1

My friend once said, “When my father died, I could not cry with my children around.” Being sad is natural and you can cry. It’s not something bad you should hide. Everyone can be moved to tears, even grown-ups. Did you ever feel you wanted to cry at something but you tried to hold back tears? Tell me when and why you did.

Once my English teacher said to me “Why are you screaming!”

I said “I didn’t mean it to!  Jinny, Lisa was screaming too!”

But my teacher said “I didn’t hear they screaming!”

I was said.

“Why did he only mad at me?”

So I tried to hold back tears.

2. #4

Have you ever lost someone or something close to you? It could be your family, pet or plants. When they died or left you, how did you feel? Tell me your memory when you lost the person or the thing first.

A few years ago there was a puppy named “Jin Do Li” in my grandpa’s house.

Our puppy was cute and strong!

When my kindergarten vacation was start, I visited my grandpa’s house

“OH MY GOD!!!”

Our puppy was gone!

I felt my heart was going faster.

Because I was lost my special friend.

I was very sad and cried too loud.

For now, our puppy didn’t come back.

I hope our puppy come back soon at grandpa’s house.

남들이 나를 오해할 때 참 화가나지.
선생님께서 그때 한 번이라도 물어봐 주셨으면 좋았겠다는 아쉬움이 있네..^^

When my fish died I tried not to cry. Because at that time there were my family so when I cry I thought if I cry my parent would tease me so I just ran to my room and try and pretend not to cry. But my tears came down my cheek so I wiped them with my cloth and do a fake smile so nobody would notice that I’m crying.

2. #4

Have you ever lost someone or something close to you? It could be your family, pet or plants. When they died or left you, how did you feel? Tell me your memory when you lost the person or the thing first.

I lost my great grandmother. She died last year. She left me love and courage.

When I knew that she died I felt sad. But I didn’t cried. Because I didn’t attend at the funeral. But my grandmother at my mother side cried very much.

나보다도 훨씬 더 어른 같은 느낌이 드네요^^
