이번엔 곤충에 대해서 골라 봤습니다. 제가 하는 일이라곤 주제와 내용을 선정하는 일뿐이고, 나머진 찾아서 옮겨 쓰는 일뿐인데도 꽤 시간이 걸리고, 힘이 드네요. 헌데 책을 스터디하고 심화된 내용을 올리시는 맘들은 얼마나 시간과 노력이 들까요. 그 분들에게 감사하다는 맘이 더욱 들었습니다. *퀴즈-개미는 자기 몸무게의 몇배에 해당하는 무게를 들수 있을까요? 답은 아래에 있습니다.^^ Insects(곤충)

Insects(곤충)

1. dragonfly(잠자리) A large insect with two sects of wings and a long, slender body.

2. moth(나방) An insect similar to a butterfly but having a thicker body, a duller color, and antennae shaped like feathers. Unlike butterflies, moths usually fly at night.

3. mosquito(모기)A small insect, the female of which bites and sucks blood from animals and humans. Mosquitoes can spread diseases such as malaria and yellow fever.

4. spider(거미)A small animal with eight legs, a body divided into two parts, and no wings. Spiders spin webs to trap insects for food.

5. ant(개미) A small insect that lives in a large group called a colony. Ants are very strong for their size. They can carry 27times their won weight.

6. bee(벌) A flying insect with four wings that collects pollen to make honey.

7. cricket(귀뚜라미)A jumping insect similar to a grasshopper.

8. beetle(딱정벌레) An insect with two pairs of wings. A fair of hard wings in front protects a pair of soft flying wings that are folded.

9. cockroach(바퀴벌레) A brown or black insect that lives in warm, dark places and is a household pest.

10. cicada(매미)A type of grasshopper that eats and destroys crops. Locusts fly in large swarms of up to two billion.

11. Praying mantis(사마귀)A insect that is related to the grasshopper. When it rests, the praying mantis folds its front legs, which then look like hands folded in prayer.

12. butterfly(나비) A thin insect with large, often brightly colored wings.

13. ladybug(무당벌레) A small, round beetle that usually has red or orange wings and black spots. Ladybugs eat insect, such as aphids, that are harmful to plants.

14. grasshopper(메뚜기,베짱이)A insect that eats plants and has long back legs adapted for leaping.

15. fly(파리)An insect with two wings.
