책 만들기 - Under the sky > 콘텐츠 공모전

이 책도 오래전 이곳 컨텐츠공모 게시판에 올라왔던 김혜정님의 꼬마책 만들기 컨텐츠를 보고 아이디어를 얻어 그때 만들었던 것입니다. 비슷한 컨텐츠가 많지만 저 나름대로의 아이디어도 있으니 한번 참고해서 만들어 보세요. 전 이 책을 만드는데 약 30분 정도 걸렸던 것 같네요. 급하게 만들다가 그림배치를 좀 여유있게 하지 않아 마지막 문장을 아래에 붙일 수 밖에 없었는데 다른 분들은 그게 더 좋다고 하더군요.^^* Under the sky는 target sentence pattern을 익히는데 아주 쉽고 유용한 책입니다. 그러다 보니 책 자체의 작품성은 없구요, 그래서 이렇게 만들어 쓰면 좋을 것 같습니다. 또한 이 책을 응용해 아주 다양한 책을 만들 수도 있구요. 1. 책 읽기 전에 노래를 한곡 불러 볼까요? 제목은 Under the spreading chestnut tree 이구요, 모두들 잘 아는 노래랍니다. 커다란 꿀밤 나무아래서~ ♬ 아시죠? (노래 제목을 클릭하세요) 1절 Under the spreading chestnut tree There we sit both you and me Oh! how happy we would be Under the spreading chestnut tree 2절 Under the spreading coconut tree. There we sit both you and me Oh! how happy we would be Under the spreading coconut tree 2. 책 만들기 책은 아주 단순합니다. 실제 그림은 위와 같이 한 장입니다. 좀 두터운 푸른 바탕의 색지에 하얀색 구름을 오려 붙이고, 갈색 색지로 나무를 만들고, 노랑, 연두, 초록 색종이로 나뭇잎을 쓱쓱 잘라서 붙이고, 그 아래 땅이 될 노란 색지를 나무 밑둥이 가리게 붙이고 연달아 갈색 색지를 완전히 아래까지 붙입니다. 나무 바로 아래에 꽃 한송이, 그 아래에 연두, 초록 색지로 풀들 머리 빗는 빗 모양으로 잘라서 붙입니다. 바로 아래에 붙여서 바윗덩이를 하나 만들어 붙이고 그 아래 오랜지색 종이로 지렁이를 한 마리 오려서 붙입니다. (저는 노란 색지를 너무 내려 붙여서 아래로 갈수록 공간이 좁아지는 문제가 나타났습니다. 여러분들은 만드실 때 종이의 공간 배분을 잘 하셔서 만드시기 바랍니다.) 그런다음 흰 종이를 여러장 준비해서 맨 아래 worm 이 가려질 만큼 잘라서 그림 아랫부분에 붙여 준뒤에 Under the soil, there is a worm. Hello, worm! 이라고 씁니다. 그런 다음 worm이 가려지도록 위로 접어 올립니다. 다음엔 다시 worm 까지 가려질 정도의 폭으로 흰 종이를 잘라 그림의 왼편 모퉁이 뒤로 붙여줍니다. 그 위에 Under the rock, there is some soil. 이라고 적습니다. 이런 식으로 각 그림을 차례차례 덮을 수 있도록 흰종이를 잘라서 왼쪽에 붙여준후 맨 마지막에 전체를 덮을 수 있는 종이로 표지를 만듭니다. 표지까지 완성되면 제본용 라벨테이프로 왼쪽 모서리를 감싸서 깔끔하게 정리합니다. 아래의 그림을 참조하면 잘 이해하실 수 있습니다. 제 스캐너가 고장이 나서 사진을 찍어 올렸는데 영 화질이 좋지 못하네요. 3. 책 읽기 표지입니다. 제목 Under the sky, Written by Rozanne Lanczak Williams, Illustrated by Jeong-Hee, Lee. 라고 썼습니다. Let's read an interesting book. Can you read the title? Yes, let's read the title together. "Under the sky." OK. Let's look out the window. What can you see? What are in the sky? Then, what are under the sky? .... Now, let's look at the book again. What are under the sky in this book? Can you guess? 표지를 넘기면 하늘만 보이며 다시 제목이 나옵니다. [ Under the sky ] (하늘을 가리키며) What's this? Yea, this is the sky. What are in the sky? There are some white clouds. Then, what will be under the sky? Can you guess? 나무까지만 보입니다. [ Under the sky, there is a tree.] Wow, you are right! Under the sky, there is a tree. What color are these leaves? What season is it? What will be under the tree? Can you guess? 나무 밑에 꽃이 보입니다. [ Under the tree, there is a flower. ] Oh, there is a beautiful flower under the sky. What will be under the flower? Can you guess? 꽃 밑에 잔디가 보입니다. [ Under the flower, there is some grass. ] There is some green grass under the flower. It looks so fresh. What will be under the flower? Can you guess? 잔디 밑에 돌맹이가 보입니다. [ Under the grass, there is a rock. ] What's this? (제가 바위를 제대로 표현 못했는지 잘 못알아 보더군요.) Good job! This is a rock. Let's read the sentence, together. (이쯤 되면 같이 읽도록 유도를 합니다. 왠만하면 따라 합니다.) What will be under the rock? Can you guess? 바위 밑에 흙만 조금 보입니다. [ Under the rock, there is some soil. ] What is this brown thing? Excellent! It's soil. We can call it 흙 in Korean. (경우에 따라 한국말로 가르쳐 주기도 합니다.) Have you ever played with some soil? What do you make? How did you feel? What will be under the soil? Can you guess? 지렁이가 보이도록 지렁이를 가린 종이를 아래로 폅니다. [ Under the soil, there is a worm. Hello, worm! ] Wow, what is this? (제 아이들은 처음 이 책을 보았을 때 caterpillar 라고 하더군요.^^*) Yes, it's a worm. Do you like it? When do you usually see the worms? Great! When it is rainy, we can see the worms on the ground. Because they come out of the soil, when it is rainy. Let's say to the worm, "Hello." 4. 거꾸로 읽어 보기 책을 여러번 읽어 익숙해 지면 over의 개념을 가르쳐 주고 over를 넣어서 문장을 만들어 읽어 봅니다. 아래에서부터 거꾸로 읽어 올라가면 되겠지요? Over the worm, there is some soil.
