맘스쿨에서 이정희님의[어린이영어지도를 위한 교구,교재 제작] 강좌를 듣고 처음으로 컨텐츠에 도전을 하려고 합니다. 스토리북은 우드부부의 [Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear]를 영어모임에서 제가 이번에는 스토리텔링 담당이라 선정을 하게 되었습니다. 영작은 일단 아주 이상한 부분만 생활영어 Q&A게시판에서 수정을 받았는데 (수정해주신 Skymom님 감사드립니다.) 아무래도 엉성한 표현이 많을 것입니다. 이상하다고 생각하시면 주저없이 말씀해 주시와요. Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear 22~23개월 모임의 아이들을 상대로 하였는데 [The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear]를 접하지 않아서 인지 시선 잡아 두기 힘들었습니다. The red ripe strawberry를 먼저 접하고 아주 좋아했던 4세 현우의 경우는 이해력이 빠르고 호응이 좋았습니다. It?_blank's time for storytelling. 스토리 시간입니다. Today we're going to read Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear. When is Christmas? 언제가 크리스마스인가요? -It's December 25th. 12월 25일입니다. Yes, Christmas is just around the corner. 맞아요. 크리스마스가 곧 다가오지요. What presents do you want for Christmas? 크리스마스에 무슨 선물을 받고 싶어요? - A police car. 경찰차요. When is Christmas eve? 언제가 크리스마스 이브인가요? It's the day before Christmas, December 24th. 크리스마스 전날인 12월 24일이예요. If you behaved this year, Santa is going to leave a great gift under the tree on Christmas eve. 만약 올해 착한 행동을 했다면, 산타할아버지께서 크리스마스 이브에 멋진 선물을 주실거야. Now, let's read the book. 이제 책을 읽어 봐요. The Authors are Don and Audrey Wood. 작가는 우드 부부예요. They wrote The little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and The big Hungry Bear, too. This book is a sequel to this The little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and The big Hungry Bear. 이 책은 The little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and The big Hungry Bear의 속편에 해당해요. What can you see in this cover? 겉표지에 무엇이 보이지요? Yes, there are a brilliantly decorated Christmas tree, many presents and a little mouse. 네, 휘황찬란하게 장식된 크리스마스 트리, 많은 선물들 그리고 작은 생쥐가 있어요. Does the little mouse seem to be happy or sad? 작은 생쥐는 행복해보여요? 슬퍼보여요? -Yes, because he is smiling, he seems to be happy. 네, 생쥐가 미소를 짓고 있는걸보니 행복한가봐요. I wonder what happened to the little mouse. 작은 생쥐에게 무슨일이 일어났는지 궁금하네요. He is dragging his presents to his house. 생쥐가 집으로 선물을 끌고 가네요. The mouse hole is under the tree. 생쥐집은 나무 아래에 있어요. He's wearing a red coat with a red hat, and black boots like Santa Clause. 생쥐가 산타클로스처럼 빨간 코트를 입고 빨간 모자를 쓰고 까만 부츠를 신고 있네요. The little mouse is so proud of his own presents. 생쥐는 선물때문에 의기양양한 표정이네요. But he starts to worry about "the big, hungry Bear in the cold, dark cave at the top of the hill" and how he'd do anything to get hold of Mouse's presents. 작은 생쥐는 언덕 꼭대기의 춥고 어두컴컴한 굴속에 사는 크고 배고픈 곰이 생쥐의 선물을 어떻게 할까봐 걱정이 되기 시작했어요. The little mouse is guarding all of his presents. 작은 생쥐가 선물을 지키고 있어요. Look! There are many tacks with a sharp point and a flat head on the floor and some chains over the presents. 봐요! 바닥에는 많은 압정이 있고 선물위에는 쇠사슬이 있네요. He sets up padlocks and barricades on the door. 문에 자물쇠를 하고 바리케이트를 쳤어요. But he heard the bear never gets any presents. 생쥐는 곰이 아무 선물도 받지 못한다고 들었어요. The little mouse is worried. 생쥐는 걱정이 되었어요. Little mouse is sad for his lonely neighbor. 생쥐는 외로운 이웃이 불쌍했어요. But the good old mouse has a change of heart when he realizes the big hungry Bear never gets any presents of his own. 그러나 커다란 배고픈 곰이 생쥐의 선물을 절대 가지고 갈수 없다는 것을 깨닫고 착한 생쥐는 마음이 바뀌었어요. He decides to share Christmas presents of his own with the big hungry Bear. 생쥐는 커다란 배고픈 곰과 선물을 나눠가지기로 결심을 했어요. What is the Little mouse doing? 작은 생쥐는 어떻게 할까요? He unlocks them and heads off to visit bear friend. 자물쇠를 풀고 곰 친구를 만나러 떠나요. He is putting on a red hat and black boots. 빨간 모자를 쓰고 까만 부츠를 신네요. The little mouse takes the Chrismas decorations off the tree and puts them in a bag. 작은 생쥐는 크리스마스트리에서 장식을 떼어내서 자루에 담네요. What's the little mouse holding? 생쥐가 무엇을 들고 있나요? He carried the lantern to brighten the dark cave. 어두운 동굴을 비추려고 랜턴을 들고 있어요. He arrives in front of the dark cave. 작은 생쥐가 어두컴컴한 굴 앞에 도착을 했네요. He is decorating the Christmas tree with lots of ornaments for Big hungry bear. 커다란 배고픈 곰을 위해 크리스마스트리를 장식하고 있네요. Where is the little mouse hiding? 작은 생쥐가 어디로 숨었나요? He is hiding under the cover. 이불 아래에 숨었어요. You can see the tail of mouse. 생쥐의 꼬리가 보이지요. Here is a big presents from the big hungry bear. 커다란 배고픈 곰이 큰 선물을 했네요. What is in the big box? 큰 상자 안에는 무엇이 들었을까요? Guess what is in the box? 무엇이 들었는지 알아맞혀 보세요. Look! There's the strawberry-shaped bookends over the mouse's bed. 봐요! 생쥐 침대 위에 딸기 모양의 책꽂이가 있네요. It reminds me of The little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and The big Hungry Bear. The little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and The big Hungry Bear가 생각나는군요. OK, that's the end of the story. 이야기가 끝났어요. The little mouse shared his own presents with the big hungry bear. 작은 생쥐가 배고픈 곰과 선물을 나눠가졌지요. Santa Clause, reindeer, santa stocking, mouse, Christmas tree, .... I'll show you them with words this time.이번에는 글자와 함께 보여주겠습니다. 스토리텔링이 끝나면 다시 한번 카드를 보여주며 책안에서 보았던 거와 그렇지 않은 것을 구별하도록 합니다. Can you remember what you saw in this book? 이 책에서 무엇을 보았지는 기억하나요? Say "Yes, yes" if you saw these in the book. 책에서 본 거면 "네네"라고 대답하세요. Say "no" if you didnt see it (in the book). 보지 않은 것이면 "아니오" 라고 대답하세요. Santa clause -"Yes, yes" Santa hat -"Yes, yes." Angel -"No, no" 그림카드와 글자 카드를 워드로 작업을 하여 첨부파일에 올렸습니다. 스토리 북과 관련있는 그림입니다. 그림1장과 글자 1장을 붙이고 나서 코팅을 하고 나서 그림카드에 있는 선을 따라 오리시면 됩니다. 글자 카드에는 그림카드와 딱 맞지 않을 것을 대비하여 선을 보이지 않도록 되어있습니다. 그림의 선명도가 떨어집니다. 그래서 x-mas tree와 wreathe는 엔젤클럽의 양은순님의 그림자료를 이용하였습니다. (양은순님 너무 예쁜 그림 감사합니다.) 2. Finger puppet 이용하기 부직포로 손가락 인형을 만들었습니다. 아주 간단합니다. 도안을 떠서 가위로 오립니다. 아래쪽 부분을 제외하고 글루건으로 붙입니다. 움직이는 눈을 붙이고 콧수염을 붙입니다. 귀모양의 분홍색 부직포를 덧붙였습니다. 워낙에는 몸통까지 있는 손인형을 만들려고 했는데 그림이 잘 되지 않아서 손가락 인형으로 했는데 우리 아이들의 반응이 아주 좋네요. 연두색으로도 하나 더 만들어서 각각 하나씩 주었습니다. 신랑은 곰이냐고 하는데 현우가 "It's a mouse, Hello mouse."하기 땜에 mouse가 되었습니다. 3. 크리스마스트리 장식하기(Decorate X-mas tree) We're going to decorate Christmas tree today. 오늘은 크리스마스 트리를 만들어보겠습니다. I'll explain how to do. 어떻게 하는지 설명을 하겠습니다. Here, I have lots of ornaments to decorate with. 여기 트리를 꾸밀 장식이 있어요. A pine tree is right over there. 나무는 저기 있고요. I'll give you five ornaments each. 각각 5개씩의 볼을 주겠습니다. Stand here and throw the ornaments to the tree. 여기에 서서 나무에 볼을 던집니다. (Let's see) Who can hit the most balls? 누가 가장 많은 볼을 맞히는지 봅시다. Are you ready? 준비됐나요? OK. Who wants to do first? 누가 먼저 해볼까요? Good, You go first. 좋아요. 먼저 해봐요. Wow, today's winner is ***. 와, 오늘의 우승자는 ***입니다. This star is your prize. 이 별은 상입니다. You can put it up on the top of the tree. 나무 꼭대기에 별을 붙여보세요. All of you made a splendid Christmas Tree. 크리스마스 트리가 멋지게 완성되었네요. I'm so proud of you. 정말 잘했어요. See you next time. 다음에 또 봐요. ★만드는 방법 장식공은 보시다시피 볼풀공에 찍찍이를 붙인겁니다. 볼풀공이 없으신 분은 신문지를 구겨서 색종이로 싼 다음 투명 테이프로 붙이고 나서 찍찍이를 붙이면 됩니다. 트리는 접착융뒤에 부직포를 붙인겁니다. 접착융만 하여 바로 벽에 붙이면 벽이 딱딱하여 공이 융판에 잘 붙지 않고 튕겨져 나옵니다. 부직포가 없으신 분은 집에 남는 좀 두꺼운 천을 뒤에 붙여도 좋습니다. 액티비티 1과 3은 前영어모임 멤버의 아이디어를 이용한것입니다. 이하는 기존의 만들기를 링크를 걸어둡니다. 글씨를 클릭하시면 해당 페이지로 이동합니다. 크리스마스 트리 종이로 만들기 크리스마스 카드 만들기 산타 모자 만들기 ♬캐롤송♬ ♪Santa Claus Is Coming To Town ♪ Oh!
