[날따방] Usborne #20 - The Nutcracker > 초등영어 게시판

This is Dong-Ha once again. Have you guys been keeping your New Year’s resolutions? If there is anyone who doesn’t know, a New Year resolution is a promise that you make at the beginning of the New Year, that you are going to try and keep until the next New Year. It can be stuff like, “I promise to finish all my homework”, “I promise to get all A’s in school”, or maybe “I promise to be nice to my brothers and sisters”. Whatever New Year’s resolutions you’ve made try your best to keep them.

The book this week is The Nutcracker, which was originally a ballet that was composed by Tchaikovsky. It was so popular that it was adapted into a story book. Maybe some of you do ballet and have actually performed The Nutcracker.

Have fun reading it, and the instructions are the same as always.
1. The first step is to read The Nutcracker. Try to read it at least two times, once out loud

and once in your head.
2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a

vocabulary, multiple choice, simple question, short answer, and a creativity section.

Make sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures

may help you remember what happened.
3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.
It’s almost the end of January, and that means the first month of 2016 has already gone by. I hope the year is going well for guys. Until next time.
