이스라엘 정부가 드디어 콘서트를 열기 위해 당신을 초청했네요.

The world knows about the conflicts that have been in that region and I like to think that if I go to a place it becomes evident that my message is a peaceful one.
세상 사람들 모두 그 지역에 있어 온 분쟁을 알고 있죠. 그 곳에 가게 되면 제가 전하려는 것이 ‘평화의 메시지’라는게 이제 분명히 드러날 거예요.

Do you think music can change things?
음악으로 (여러가지) 상황들을 바꿀 수 있다고 생각하세요?

I think it can. I always cite a John (Lennon) song Give Peace A Chance. If you watch the footage from back then, about a million people outside the White House chanting that song to Nixon inside the White House. I think that had an effect.
전 바꿀 수 있다고 봐요. 전 항상 레넌이 작곡한 ‘Give Peace A chance’를 인용합니다. 그 당시 비디오 자료를 보면 아시겠지만 백만 명 가량의 사람들이 백악관 밖에 모여서 백악관 안에 있는 닉슨 대통령을 향해 다 같이 그 노래를 불렀습니다. 전 그 음악이 영향을 끼쳤다고 생각합니다.
