꿈꾸는 윌리를 진행하면서...직업인 단어 시리즈에 노출시켜보았지요.

마침..병원에 입원도 해 있었으니.

doctor and nurse 는 이젠 잘 알고 있겠지..하는 엄마의 기대.

마침 child's play출판사에서 나온 Angela Lambert의

ALL CHANGE ! JOBS. 를 찾았네.. 구매는 웬디북에서 했었고.

이 시리즈물로..Animals, Food , Party시리즈를 구입했었네요.

The Reception children at St Oswald's Catholic Primary in Wigan couldn't put these down. They laughed, compared, recommended and discussed them. Each book has its own sturdy card figure (boy on one side, girl on other) fixed by ribbon to the spine. Move it to the plastic 'costume' pocket on each page and turn the child into a penguin, nurse or an astronaut! Children were fascinated by the idea of dressing up as a hotdog and intrigued by the fun, factual text which they could read: 'I am chewy. Squeeze on the sauce. Munch! I am a hotdog! The books prompted speculation about what they would do if one child was a bowl of spaghetti and the other was a crocodile, or if someone was the ice-cream, which would the croc eat? These books are very good value for the conversation they inspired and at a basic level they clearly define categories. She instantly fell in love with it, and still loves it two months later. She loves sliding the child cut-out in and out of the pouch. We talk about the different jobs in the book and what people do who work in them, then we talk about the jobs of people she knows. It has given her more understanding for when I say "Daddy's at work" or "Uncle Bob's at work". She has even decided which jobs she thinks would be fun. Not only has this book been educational when we go through it together, it also entertains her when she is reading it alone. It is also the perfect size to take with you, and it is sturdy enough to handle being toted around.

남자 간호사는 없다네요.

"아냐..수현아...엑스레이 사진찍어주신...선생님은 남자분이셨잖아.

남자간호사도..아주 많아..."

저기서 듣고 계시던 아빠..

"엑스레이를 찍어주신 분은 방사선기사란다..

"정신병원에도 남자간호사가 있지..."

집에서 나올 때...그 책말고도...병원과 관련된 영어책을 몇 권 들고

나왔었는데..요.

메이지가 병원에 가다.

리틀 프린세스 책까지.

누나가 입원한 사흘 뒤에 둘째 기원이도 함께 입원해 있어서요...

일요일인 오늘은 아빠도 함께 해 주어서...

수현이의 엄마표 영어를 하나는 할 수 있겠지 했는데.

다른 두 아이템들은 ..기원이의 정맥주사가...조금 잘못되어서..

1층에서 놀다가..다시...간호사 선생님만나러.올라 가야했고..

병원에 있으니..이일 저일 바쁘기도 하였지요.

어쩜...친정엄마는 이 모든 것들을 혼자서 소리없이..모두 처리하

시는걸까요?

슈퍼맘은 우리 친정엄마였어요..

일요일에 아빠랑..엄마랑..있다가...고작 8시간 뿐이였는데.

두 사람 모두..얼굴이 벌개서..병원을 나섰지요.

정말...우리 엄마가 최고일 뿐이네요...

이 은혜를 제가 어찌 다아..갚을 수 있을까요? 이 생애에...말이예요.

병원에 와서..엑스레이를 찍는데요

종합병원이여서...모든 진료과가 있네요.

내과.소아과.치과.정형외과.이비인후과.신경외과.영상의학과.

응급의학과. 흉부외과.일반외과. 비뇨기과.피부과.

마침 정형외과 앞쪽에...엑스레이 사진이 몇 장있었네요...

ㅋㅋㅋ..

선명한. 알파벳 T..수현이도 유치원 친구들이 병문안을 오면

이렇게...그림도 그려주는지 물어보네...

수현인...간호사 선생님이 그려주신 빨강색..하트..네 개랑..

검정색 하트도 하나씩...있었는걸요.

아주 즐거운 병원놀이네요.. 키득.

두 남매....의 병원놀이에...아빠는 그저..웃지요...

"Maisy Goes to the Hospital" is a part of a new line of books called the "Maisy First Experiences" books (part of a line called "My Friend Maisy.") In this story, Maisy must pay a visit to the hospital when she hurts her leg after bouncing on a trampoline. She learns just what happens at a hospital and even makes a new friend.

Maisy gets an x-ray and stays overnight at the hospital. She misses her friends, but later they come to visit her. They even get to sign her cast.

Overall, I think this story is a great introduction for any kid that would have to go to the hospital. Each experience is unique, but this provides a good idea of the basics. Definitely recommended for all "Maisy" fans and as an introduction to this particular "first experience."

My children have grown up with the Maisy books but are now beyond the board books and lift the flap books. This range of books is the next progression on from those so I am delighted my children can still keep in touch with their favourite characters in a more in depth story.

This book is very good. The Maisy illustrations are more detailed than ever. There is text on most pages and it tells the story of Maisy going to hospital because she breaks her leg falling off her trampoline. The best bits of the old Maisy books are still here, the wonderful illustrations, all the friends and the crystal clear progression of the story.

This story is also very educational as it introduces things you might encounter at hospital like X rays, plaster casts, crutches and childrens wards. It also shows the feelings you might have - homesickness because of a hospital stay but points out the good thing of meeting new friends. Maisy meets a new character Dotty the Donkey in the bed opposite her. Nurse Comfort, a flamingo, and Dr Duck also make an appearance.

There are lots of things to count - 11 windows on the hospital, flowers on bushes etc It can also lead to a left versus right discussion as you can work out which leg Maisy broke.

Highly recommended for 3-6 year olds especially those who are in plaster casts.
