Should tourists go to Antarctica?
새벽에 일어나서 녹음을 했는데..
발음이 계속 꼬이더라구요.
뉴스를 읽으면서 계속 '6분'에 맞추려니 마음이 더 바빠서 그런듯 합니다. ^^;;

Antartica is the last great wilderness on Earth and the world's largest coal field.
But the exploitation of resourse has been banned for 50 years by the Antartic Treaty.
Is it fair for tourists to set foot on the sensitive environment?
There's no denying that it disturbs the environment in Antarctica.
However, carefully controlled tourism is not just okay but useful.
Antartica needs advocates to support and indeed fund its preservation by the tourism.
Tourists to Antarctica defend conservation and give money to organizations which work for the preservation of the environment.
Here are several instructions the tourists must keep before leaving the ship.
1) cleaning your clothes and kit with a vacuum cleaner
2) disinfecting your boots
3) no eating and smoking on land.
4) taking nothing away and leaving nothing behind.
