Her name is Jessica. She is an 8-year-old girl. She has stayed the hospital over 2 years. She couldn’t go to school because she was very sick. Actually she got a cancer on her blood cells. When she felt terrible pain, she was even hard to breathe. Except the painful time, she is generally happy. She has many friends who are a little bit different with ours such as nurses, doctors and sick children like her. One day, a happy news was coming. Next month, she can leave this hospital. Her doctor said that she is almost cured! She is expecting the exciting school life!!

Let’s write a letter to Jessica. She’ll be happy to receive letters from Korean friends!

저희도 주말에 남해다녀왔어요. 여름휴가 답사 한다고요, 별 이유도 많죠?
날씨도 더워서 바다에 들어가 신나게 놀고, 다랭이마을도 보고 좋았는데, 1박2일로 갔다오니 좀 힘들어요.

If you’re very sick, you might even have to be hospitalized, no matter how you feel. Whn you’re in a hospital you should listen to grown-up’s. But you can ask some questions you want to know. After getting some good answers from them, you could feel more comfortable. What kinds of questions would you ask? Read #4 and find the answers. If you have better questions of your own, you can write them.

Why do I have to take that medicine?
